Blue Team Master Program: State Government SOC Team
First and foremost the course was EXACTLY what I was looking for when I began looking into IR training for the team. The content was extensive and covered the topics we needed to learn.
I thought the approach of hands-on coaching was much more effective than lectures, including the PWF videos which, as you know, are all showing people how to do it versus just explaining how to do it. I also thought demonstrating a variety of tools to accomplish similar results was also extremely helpful. The team now has an extensive toolbox for conducting investigations that they were able to use during the course.
I am 100% satisfied with the course and the learning experience you have provided for us, I honestly could not be happier. I look forward to attending future trainings as you mentioned more may be in the works.
Thanks for putting this together, you did a great job for us!

Ransomware Workshop
…Building upon my previous training in FOR528 last winter, this course provided a unique and comprehensive perspective on ransomware defense, blending practical skill development with strategic understanding…Markus Schober’s workshop was the perfect next step…
Markus Schober’s approach to teaching ransomware defense is hands-on and immersive. We simulated each phase of a ransomware attack, from initial infection to execution. This approach not only enhanced my understanding but also honed my practical skills in real-world scenarios…
Value Addition Beyond FOR528: While FOR528 provided a solid framework, Markus Schober’s workshop offered an enhanced experience that bridged the gap between theory and practice, focusing on the latest ransomware trends and defense mechanisms…
The blend of knowledge and hands-on practice was not just educational but also a career-enhancing experience. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to expand their expertise in cybersecurity, particularly in the ever-evolving realm of ransomware defense. (Full Article)
