Build Your Lab: Velociraptor Setup

In this video tutorial we are demonstrating how to install Velociraptor, which is an advanced digital forensic and incident response tool. We’ll do this in our Medium Lab build, which includes a Windows client and Windows Domain Controller, but instructions apply to any Windows system. The Velociraptor server is going to be installed on our host system, which is also Windows based. The tool is freely available on Github and can provide tremendous value when hunting for and responding to threats across endpoints.

Prerequisites:

• One or more Windows VMs.
• One Windows System to install the Velociraptor server.
