Where can I see my courses?
Will I get a certificate when completing a course?
Yes, if you are enrolled in a course and finish all topics and lessons, you will be able to download a personalized certificate of completion from the course page.
How do I get access to the online labs?
Once you are enrolled in a course that includes online labs, you will find links within the course to open and start your lab VMs.
How do I connect to my lab VM?
The lab provides in-browser experience to access lab VMs once you have started a lab. No additional applications are needed.
How long will I have access to labs and courses?
That depends on the course or the plan you have agreed on with Blue Cape Security.
Will I have my own, dedicated lab VM?
Yes, some courses support persistent lab VMs. That means if a lab gets shut down, you will be able to resume the same instance again at a later point. Other lab VMs are ephemeral and terminated once the lab run time expires. You can extend the run time by 60 minutes every time you are within the last 15 minutes of a lab run time. Lab VM termination = The VM will be deleted. Lab VM stopping = The VM will persist and can be resumed.
What’s the best browser to use and do you support copy and paste functionality?
It is highly recommended to use Chrome, which will also provide copy and paste functionality. Other browsers work as well, but without this feature.
