VirtualBox and Windows 2019 VM installation
2023 Update: VirtualBox v7 License Terms Error:
Some students have reported issues when installing Windows with VirtualBox version 7. Specifically, during the VM installation there may be an error stating “Windows Cannot Find the Microsoft Software License Terms”.
Possible reasons and solutions:
- When creating the VM in VirtualBox, make sure to check the box for “Skip Unattended Installation”. This should grey out the Product key field in the next step.
